The Epilepsy Foundation of Northwest Ohio
The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Northwest Ohio is to ensure the long term financial viability of the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio and to increase community awareness of epilepsy.
The Foundation was started in 1977 and has historically supported the needs of the Epilepsy Center of NWO with grants to develop marketing materials, signage and software investments. Today, the Foundation looks for additional opportunities, including outside entities, to which they can issue grants to organizations who will serve those in our communities with epilepsy. Awardees include:
- General Fund Grants … grants can also be issued to provide opportunities within our community for education and awareness about epilepsy.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Northwest Ohio considers itself an important part of the northwest Ohio community as it supports epilepsy awareness, education and outreach.
It is the Foundation’s desire to continue to grow and award additional grants to worthy causes and organizations. While the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio will continue to receive preferential consideration, in order to expand our influence and impact on the community by issuing grants, we hope additional donors will consider extending their generosity to include the Epilepsy Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
