Advocacy & Resource Information
The Epilepsy Center strives to support the rights of individuals impacted by epilepsy. It is our goal to research and have available information for resources to aid those with epilepsy. Those may include:
- Employment/school education and training
- Educational and medical information
- Support for forming a peer group
- Resource library
- Events with topical presentations
We will do our best to assess the needs presented by an individual and make suggestions. Our opinions are not to be taken as legal or medical advice. Often success will rely on the interaction with the client’s medical provider(s), family and community for their support. Legal, financial or employment matters may require assistance from an outside, qualified professional. These services could require payment by the individual.
